Check Incoming MIDI Data
This section allows you to specify which MIDI data should be modified.
Modify Outgoing MIDI Channel
This section allows you to change the MIDI channel of the incoming MIDI data. You can add, subtract, multiply or divide the MIDI channel by a user-defined value.
Modify Outgoing CC Num
This section allows you to change the CC Num and value of the incoming MIDI data. You can add, subtract, multiply or divide the CC Num and value by a user-defined value.
NOTE:
MIDI Modifiers are like buttons. They default to being disabled. Click on them to activate them.
Modify Outgoing Note
This section allows you to change the Note and velodity of the incoming MIDI data. You can add, subtract, multiply or divide the Note and velocity by a user-defined value.
TIP:
You can use two or more MIDI Modifier controllers with the same "Check Incoming MIDI Data" settings to output multiple MIDI data at the same time.
For example:
Add two MIDI Modifier controllers to the Layout.
Set both controllers "Check Incoming MIDI Data" settings to:
"If MIDI Channel is equal to 1", modify MIDI data
For the first controller, don't modify the outgoing MIDI data.
For the second controller, add "1" to the CC Num value.
Now DAWSound will output MIDI data for two different CC Nums.
This is also handy for sending MIDI notes that are an octave apart just by playing one note on your MIDI keyboard.
